The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO) program trains individuals with a duty to act including lifeguards, police, security personnel, firefighters, and athletic trainers — to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. This course is also intended for individuals serving in roles that would be called upon to provide support in emergency situations, such as aquatic facility, gym/fitness club, or community/recreation center staff.
My Name is Lance Lee and I am the proprietor / instructor. I have been teaching American Red Cross classes for 15 years. My hometown is Far Rockaway, Queens and I have lived in the Binghamton area for 40 years. I worked for IBM for 22 years, then moved to Florida for 3 years to help with my dad. My family and I moved back in 2006 and I now work for the New York State Department of Transportation. I currently live in Vestal with my wife Helen of 30 years and our son Matthew.
I have been very involved with my community being a scout leader since 2006, and I continue to recertify my Youth Protection Training yearly. My wife and I have been team teaching religious education for our church, St. James in Johnson City for 30 years and I recertify my Safe Environment Training every five years.
I keep involved with the American Red Cross and have been a volunteer in disaster and blood services for 25 years and have donated over 44 gallons of blood and platelets.
